Finally a post!
Sorry for my absence, I had a lovely holiday in Italy and then came back to the week at work from hell! I've falling asleep at the drop of a hat when I get home and that doesn't leave much time for blogging. Also, I really badly broke my middle nail on my swatching hand the other day so it's a good thing that I already have quite a few posts sorted up.
Anyway, today I do have a beautiful polish to show you from Enchanted Polish, it's from the newly released Time to Pretend collection and it's called Future reflections. I was amazingly lucky at Chelsea's April restock and managed to snag a ton of her polishes, apparently she oversold by something like 2000 polishes but she managed to get them all to us, amazing customer service and another reason to love Enchanted.
Future Reflections is a beautiful holographic navy blue/purple/pink subtle multi-chrome polish. As ever the formula was amazing, I used 2 effortless coats and one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast.
Make sure you look further down to see my amazing Enchanted haul! Lots more to come....
WOW!
While I was taking these here is little Miagi. I got some catnip spray from TK Maxx and sprayed it on one of his toys, he absolutely went nuts and loved it!

Enchanted Polish Magical Mystery Tour
Well, I told you I had something special for you today.... and here it is. So if you know me, you'll know I am a huge Enchanted Polish fan. Yes I know Chelsea's business has exploded and that has made it harder for us to get her polishes but boy, when you get your hands on one are they worth it!
I'm not going to do much talking today because this polish doesn't need words, but I will tell you that I think this is my favourite polish of all time. This is the polish I could wear for the rest of my life and want to be buried in (hopefully not for a very long time but it gives you a indication of my absolute love for it). This is Enchanted Polish Magical Mystery Tour, 3 coats, although it only needed 2. It is pure multi chrome, holographic goodness. I couldn't love it more!
I need a least 2 back up bottles, on to the pictures.....
I don't need to describe these pictures, you can see for yourself, and yes, this is all ONE polish!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

Nubar Peacock Feathers
Happy Weekend to you all!!
I've just been busy at the Enchanted Polish restock - man, I love that polish. Poor Chelsea had a huge oversell so although I'm elated to get what I want (hopefully) I do feel so sorry for the indie makers sometimes. How does one person keep up with the demand and expectation that they are faced with by relentless polish addicts? I don't know but I guess as customers we can only try to be understanding and supportive of our favourite brands.
Anyway, enough of the philosophical thinking and on to the polish.
Today I have a polish which lives in the halls of polish infamy, Nubar Peacock Feathers. Yes, I know you have heard of it. It's one of those polishes which was ahead of it's time in the polish world, it was ignored because it dared to be different and then we all woke up, wanted one and couldn't get our hands on it anymore because it was quickly discontinued due to problems obtaining the pigments.
I have been really very lucky in the polish community and I do have some absolutely awesome friends. I managed to get my hands on this polish through a lovely polish friend of mine who sold it to me for retail. I know, how amazing is that!!
So on to the polish. Nubar Peacock Feathers is a rich dark blue with tons of colour shifting. In most lights it is a sort of rich blue/purple but move your hands and you will see flashes of pink, green, and gold. Is it as amazing as it is hyped? I don't think so to be honest, if you are looking for the most colour shifting polishes on the market I'd try the HITS Mari Moon collection first or Enchanted Polish Beetles collection, however if you have been lemming this polish specifically as a collector you won't be disappointed I promise you.
I took these pictures in my light box and they really didn't show the amount of colour shifting this polish has so make sure you scroll down and see all the pictures.
This was taken outside, I found you get the most colour shifting in natural light

Enchanted Polish I Am The Walrus
On to more honeymoon polishes......
Today I have Enchanted Polish I Am The Walrus. This polish is describes as a holographic polish that flashes magenta to wine to gold and green. I don't know if I saw all those colours but I certainly did get a rusty red, brown, orange and green.
It's a very pretty polish but there was just something about it I just didn't love. I don't know, maybe it was too warm and I had a bit of a tan so maybe it was that I didn't like? I'm going to keep it for now and wear it again when I'm pale to see how I like it. I've loved all the swatches of it I've seen so we'll see........
What do you think?
I thought I'd do a bit of a tape mani, it didn't quite turn out how I had anticipated but I still liked it.

Dollish Polish Toxic Avenger
On to more Honeymoon mani's..... I need to find some time for daily posting to get these out of the way before I have to show you my Christmas polishes....... I will, I promise!
So, when planning my honeymoon nail wardrobe I thought I'd take a few of my 'special' polishes away, I mean really it was my honeymoon, doesn't get more special than that! Now when I say special I mean the really special ones that you tend not to ever wear for fear of running out! As part of those I picked out Dollish Polish Toxic Avenger.
To me Dollish Polish Toxic Avenger was one of those mythical polishes I didn't even dare put on my wishist becuase I knew I'd never own it so I didn't want to feel sad that it sat there on my wishlist with no chance of ever being ticked off. I haven't even seen any being sold or auctioned for quite a while so I just put it out of my mind. Then one day I was at work, quickly looked at my phone and a fellow polishaholic had put it up for swap. I can't tell you how quickly my fingers flew to message her.... I actually had something she wanted to swap for and the rest is history. I didn't even believe I'd get it until it was in my hands, I'd have been more than happy for a mini but this baby was full size!!!!!!! The polish Gods were shining on me that day.
Anyway, I've thought about posting this because I know some people don't like to see things they may never be able to get (personally I do and don't like to be teased - nothing is impossible right??), but I wanted to post it because it's part of my honeymoon and also just to say never give up hope. I swapped a Lynnderella (not even a LE one) for this and I added a whole bunch of other goodies in, not even at my swap partners request. We were both happy with our swap and got things we wanted. So..... you may just get very very lucky.
Anyway, on to the gloriousness that is Dollish Polish Toxic Avenger. This is what Dolly has to say herself about it:
"Toxic Avenger" an 80's horror/hero cult classic. Poor nerdy Melvin, mutated after falling into a vat of nuclear waste, becomes the local mutant super hero. This amazing multi-chrome polish flashes from Grey, to Purple to Olive Green, with an intense Spectraflair pigment, most commonly known as holographic pigment which bursts into a rainbow of colors when the light catches it. Don't let this creepy little mutant scare you off. This color is one of the most unique and beautiful polishes I've made to date"
What do I say about it?? IT IS BEAUTIFUL and it's everything I hoped it would be.
For these pictures I wore it on it's own with 2 coats. Next time I'm layering it over black so i can preserve it. I can't tell you how happy I was when I saw my suitcase come round that carousel nd I knew my babies were safe..
Here it is in all it's holographic goodness:
It is even beautiful in the shade too:
Can you see the multi-chrome?
This was inside in the evening - this photo reminds me of that lovely time when you walk out for dinner into the warmth and are headed for nothing but relaxation, a pina colada, and some good food with great company.
In all it's splendour:
Pure perfection!

Enchanted Polish Hey Jude
I've had this little beauty in my stash for a while now and got it out several times to use it but I needed sunshine to do it full justice so yesterday was the day. Unfortunately yesterday was also the day that I snapped the corner off my index finger nail so they all had a bit of a file down too.
Enchanted Polish Hey Jude is a gorgeous green multi-chrome holographic polish. As you may have guessed I love holo's but my problem with them is that they can look so normal without sunlight, and in the UK that's 99% of the time! I love these Enchanted Polishes from the Beetles collection, they have both a multi-chrome and holographic finish which means they look great in any light.
The formula on these is great, I used my normal OPI Nail Envy Maintenence as a base and then 2 coats of Hey Jude. There was no dragging and the coverage was good. The holographic finish was not dulled by topcoat either, I used a coat of my current favourite Cult Nails Wicked Fast.
Just look at this polish:
Even in the shade it's pretty, there's a pink flash:
Can you believe all these pictures are from the same polish??
I believe some new additions have been added to the Enchanted Polish Beetles line, I think they are called 'I Am The Walrus' and 'Mean Mr Mustard', I certainly need them both!
