Make Up Store Charmaine

In case you didn't know there is a Make Up Store in Westfield in Shepards Bush in London. The Make Up Store is a Swedish brand and it's quite well known for it's holo's, the polish I'm showing you today isn't one of the holo's they have but in fact it is slightly holographic none the less!

This was 2 coats and a topcoat, which didn't dull the holo at all. We've had rubbish weather here in the UK this summer and when the sun peaked out for about 20 seconds I ran outside like a mad woman to take these pictures.

I really liked this one, the formula was excellent and it was a lot more holo than I could capture in the pictures. Originally I bought this for someone else but I'm glad I ended up keeping it!

I think you can only get these at The Make Up Store and their polishes are £11 for 8ml which is a bit steep but I'd say worth it for the holo ones. What do you think?

I thought I'd mix it up a bit with some stamping, it came out OK but I wasn't thrilled with it. My nails are really curved which means I have to press the stamper really hard on my nails to get the image over the whole nail, this can make it a bit blurry. I've ordered an XL stamper so let's see if that makes a difference - I'll keep you posted.

And if you are interested in buying this polish - this is what you are looking for

I used the DRK-A plate for the stars - I love this plate!

  1. So pretty! It's probably a good job I live nowhere near Stratford otherwise I'd be even more broke than I already am!

    1. I don't think they are in Stratford (so your are safe there, lol!) - you have to go to Shepards Bush - but well worth it!

    1. Thanks so much Kerry. I have been spending time working on my blog lately so I need to look into this. Thanks so much! Really kind of you and I am honoured.

I'm sure it will still be there, it is a staple of theirs I think. You will have so much fun polish shopping at Westfields in Shepards Bush!

Thanks so much for commenting. I took off the annoying verification thing so I thought I better add some moderation to avoid spam messages, you know what the internet is like!

Anyway, it's great to get comments and I'll verify them as soon as they get to me.
