Ludurana Aurora Boreal Supremo

Time for another holo!!

This time it's Ludurana Aurora Boreal Supremo. This is a blueish toned liliac/purple with a strong linear holo. What's not to love!

This is the only Ludurana polish I have but I'm in the process getting more. I need more I tell you. The formula was amazing, so easy to work with and given that I was painting in the heat and/or with the air con on there were no bubbles or problems at all.

Apparently this is a dead on dupe of OPI DS Original (which I also have but haven't worn yet) so if that's on your lemming list you may just find this one more affordable.

Enjoy:

I got mine from Llarowe but Ninja Polish also stock it too.

Ozotics 532

Well, I've been soooo busy since I got back from Cyprus but I've had these holo pics on my computer just waiting to post! This was my first holiday mani and I absolutely love it. I miss the sun, I wish it would shine here....

Ozotics 532, what can I say. Why oh why have they discontinued it??!! Waahhh!!

This beautiful polish is a multichrome holographic. It is very sheer on it's own so I layered it over a coat of GOSH Nero which is an opaque black creme.

Here it is:

Look, there's sand in the background!!

And a clear blue sky! Oh to be on holiday......

Can you believe the colours in this polish?! If you don't own this I'd suggest that you try to get hold of it before it really can't be found anymore.

A bottle shot in case you are interested:

Floam!!

Well, I'm back from my holiday in Cyprus and my best friends wedding. The weather was beautiful and I made the most of my holo's - posts to follow, but I wanted to share something I wore before I went away. Floam. I don't need to say anymore do I?!

It is beautiful and I had a few non-polishaholics ask me what it was and where to get it - how do you even begin to explain without getting weird looks??

This was 3 coats and was completely opaque. My only complain is the brush, as my mother would have said it's like a bog brush!! But anyway I was lucky enough to get it and I will definately wear it again. It was so fun.

A word of warning though, before you apply make sure you have some acetone and foil, it's not the easiest to remove!!

As you know this is a hard one to get, you need to sign up for the in stock notificaion at Ninja Polish. Good luck!!

My Birthday Group Awesomeness!!!!!!

If you are wondering what that bottle shaped icon is on the right of this screen it signifies that I am lucky enough to be a member of a birthday group.

If you haven't heard of what this is it is where a group of 12 polish loving ladies each take a month through the year (mine is March) and during that month the 'birthday girl' receives nail mail from the rest of the group.

Basically it is awesome and you all get to know eachother really well and make some really good friends as well as having fun picking out things they would like when it's their turn!

I love my birthday group so thank you Zoe for starting ours!

Anyway, on to what I got during my month...... Be prepared to drool!!

Here's the haul:

The lovely Alyssa C created this - it is a soap in a cupcake shape but I couldn't get the soap and the label in the picture - I love it, it's so thoughtful!

Queen's Diamond Jubilee Mani

Well there is an air of excitement in the UK this weekend, firstly because we have four, yes I said FOUR days off and this is because of our good Queen Elizabeth II has reined for an amazing 60 years and thus we are having her Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Our town has had quite a few parties in the restaurants and bars and a huge street party today. They will be having fireworks later too so in view if these festivities I had to do a special mani - and here it is:

Nails Inc released a special edition crystal capped Jubilee glitter polish, it has red, silver and blue sparkles and is just so pretty. It is pretty expensive at £15 but when I saw the box I knew I had to have it. It's gorgeous!

These are the polishes I used for this mani:
Color Club White Nail Striper, OPI Big Apple Red, Nails Inc Jubilee Glitter, Barry M Slver Foil and Barry M Indigo. For the Union Jack I also used a red striping tape.

And this was just some of the fun my boyfriend and I had this weekend!!

Happy Diamond Jubilee everyone!

Barielle Falling Star

Hope you are all having a nice Diamond Jubilee weekend. I'm relaxing today and finally have some time to update my stash and do a post (as you might see, I didn't wear this polish today - it is raining here and we certainly didn't have any sun!).

I have to say this polish wasn't on my wish list but I was lucky to come across it when I was looking for a polish for my Aussie swap buddy. I remember seeing it on a blog and thinking it was pretty then so I had to pick it up.

Basically this is a pretty mid tone blue creme with bronze glitter - I think it's unusual and the glitter does translate to the nail as you can see here:

This is 2 coats and a layer of Poshe topcoat.

Then I decided to practise some stamping  -  I think it actually turned out quite nice but in real life it wasn't quite as noticeable as in this picture.

I used OPI Take The Stage and one of my Cheeky plates which I set aside to take a picture of and now can't find!! I'll update when it appears. Take The Stage was a bit thin for stamping so I need to investigate a nice broze foil that will work well. Let me know if you have a suggestion??
