Haul Post Alert - January

OK, so before you take a look at what's been arriving at my door I'm just going to say that these weren't all purchases! Ahem. Some were swaps that I was lucky enough to be able to arrange with some fab ladies in the UK. All the stress this month about UK shipping has had a lot of people worried. I don't know what is going to happen but I do hope that it brings the UK polish scene closer together.

Anyway, this haul is generally typical of my polish tastes, you might just notice that I've gone even more mad with a certain brand, umm, yes it was the same one that had me up at 3.50 am this morning for an insane restock.......

Anyway, here they are. I can't wait to wear all of them. I need more fingers.........

So this was a swap I did with an amazing UK lady. Look at these - straight from the Enchanted vault. I am still kicking myself for not picking up more when they used to sit on Llarowe. I used to look at them, meaning to buy them but never got around to it. Kick.

More Enchanted's. Look at those pretties. I actually had Magical Mystery Tour in the new bottle and my girl was good enough to swap it for the old bottle - all the rest of my Beetles are in the old bottle and I can't bear to have an odd one out. Yes, I'm weird.

Sooo pretty!

This is a mixture of swaps and purchase in one awesome picture. I am so excited by these I don't know which to wear first. Talk about Lemmings KILLED! 230 and Alexandrite in one photo, it should almost be illegal!

This was from the restock on New Years Day. When my order came I realised that I had messed up in my restock panic and got multiples of a few of these but no Freeze Machine (the one on the left). I was able to swap them for the older Enchanted's and pick up Freeze Machine at Mei Mei's. Crisis averted and a mistake that worked out well!

These were from the last restock at Harlow & Co. Boy was I lucky, I was out at a Christmas do with work and was able to snag all these on my phone and check out, even after drinking wine! Don't ask me how, lady luck was clearly on my side.

You might remember my Candeo Orchid post? Well they were good enough to send me a replacement and here it is. Along with a beautiful order of Wingdust.

If you haven't seen the packaging of the Wingdust polishes then you have missed out. They come in the cutest bags with gorgeous tissue paper and a pretty bracelet and candy. It felt like a swap rather than a purchase., I was very impressed. I'll show you when I wear them, they are all so beautiful too!

Gotta have some Hare's and Crow's Toes

This was the Nails Inc TSV from QVC. I got rid of the Feather Effects already as I didn't think I'd wear it again, the Leather and the blue on the right will also probably have the same fate.

I've seen these Glitzology polishes everywhere and needed some. They are really unusual polishes and I got them in a great sale. I'm saving Guardian Angel for either my Mum's birthday or Mothers day but watch out for the other two.

Jindies and quite new to me. I missed out on Electric Grape at the first restock so this was from my second order.  Can't wait to wear these.

I'd been eyeing these for ages, months in fact so I'm happy to finally have them in my stash. Can't wait to show you.

I do wish Jen would keep the bottles and labels the same though. It bothers my OCD! And how can you resist an I Love Nail Polish!

Because I needed Freeze Machine from Mei Mei's I had to get Cirque Fleur Est Belle which is a Mei Mei's exclusive. It's totally pretty. Didn't everyone get at least one A-England this month from the sale??

So, if there's anything you really want to see just let me know.

I'll be posting another haul later this month but this one will be my birthday month haul, it's totally fabulous and I can't wait to show you. Oh, and next month will be epic - I'm going to the USA...... That's all I'm saying.

December Haul Post Alert!

It's a good one, or a very very bad one, depending on which camp you are in!

Now, I just want to say that I didn't actually purchase all of this in December, so of this took a little while to arrange, but nonetheless it did all arrive this month. The postman also just knocked on my door with an exciting package from Harlow and Co, but if I don't open it tomorrow it doesn't count towards this month does it??!!

Why oh why do I only have 10 fingernails?????

One thing you will see from looking at my haul posts is that I have certain brands that I keep buying from, almost monthly. I still want to support these brands but I have also been looking at Etsy a bit more, the problem with being in the UK is the shipping. Most Etsy stores start shipping at $7-10 for the first bottle, so of course I have to buy more to make it worth the cost. Next month will be the result of a few Etsy sprees, I don't want to miss out you see. I guess with shipping going up it'll only get worse in that respect for us international ladies.

Oh one more thing, I changed my name after I got married and Paypal took off my bank accounts till I could change my name. That was in October and I only just got everything changed and up to date with Paypal last week. So this just goes to show how resourceful I can be, even when I don't have access to my Paypal account. Maybe I should apply that elsewhere......

OK, so firstly we start with Candeo. One of my favourites. This is an example of the shipping rule, although I was very restrained here. I have wanted Dolce forever, well ever since I saw it on Christina's Let The Have Polish here back in April. However Melinda ran into problems with the glitters or something so stopped making it. When I saw she was restocking it I had to jump. The thing about this polish game, and something that probably keeps many of us hooked is that if you don't get it when you see it you may never be able to get it. Anyway, lemming aquired!

Now, typically I don't like magnets. I have super curvy nails and they don't work well but when OPI release something typically they do it properly and as these haven't even made an appearance in stores in the UK I just had to have them.

I've actually used this one and the magnet was great!

Everyone needs these!

I found an awesome blog called Coewless Nail Polish Blog which you can find here, I just became amazed at this lady's work, you should check it out. Well she made me need some Isadora's so my lovely Swedish polish friend was only too happy to oblige.

A timeless addition to my polish collection - one I never thought I'd own. China Glaze OMG

Got these from my amazing real life friend who isn't even into polish!

I had to order some topcoat and Maria was doing free international shipping, so it really would have been silly not to! I have wanted My Kinda Cool Aid forever!

I got these as a gift from a dear polish sister

Hare Polish, another weakness. I think I might use Holiday Hoopla for a Valentines mani.

Well everyone wanted this Dollish with the snow flakes didn't they. Now we just have to figure out how to get them out! Oh and Lacquistry Linda Lou. My mum's name was Linda and if it weren't for breast cancer she would be with me now, so another must. I'm saving this as her birthday mani 2013.

An awesome Secret Santa! I've worn both already

Ok, Ok, now on to the Lynn's. Firstly in my defence I bought these in September when they first came out. They just took a while to get to me!

And these..... well, I knew I needed the whole new collection so I went though all my unused skin care (yes, that's another collection) and took out a whole bunch of stuff to ebay. That actually paid for the whole lot, so technically it was free wasn't it!

Yes, these are LE's and YES they are beautiful! I am so very very lucky!

When you see Illamasquas on sale you gotta grab them right? Oh and the RBL Aqua Lily, I almost bought it from the RBL site but I faffed around over the shipping cost and it sold out. So, I ended up buying it from a lovely lady who had buyers remorse over backups. Yes I probably paid the same or more that I would have directly but it is worth it. I don't have to worry about mising out now.

Peacock Feathers!!! Do I need say more? This one has a great story which I will tell when I wear it and do the post. Pshiiit was an awesome extra from my fabulous swap buddy.

More Australian awesomeness!

My pre-order from Jindie Nails and a great extra too. Jen is lovely but I might have to wait till spring to wear this one.

A gift from my Avon lady - even she knows I'm in to nails. Oh and Sugar Skulls - it's fun what can I say?

These are probably the only ones I do feel a bit guilty for. They were supposed to be stocking fillers for my stepdaughters (they had a yummy lipgloss too). But I figured they probably wouldn't know the difference between Butter London or Barry M so........ these stayed with me. The lipgloss tastes of Vanilla Cupcakes too!

Lastly, another awesome Secret Santa. You won't see me post many Zoyas becuase we can't get them easily in the UK so this was extra thoughtful. I'm off to the US in Feb/March so I think I better place an order to pick up when I get there.

Well that's it. I think I better go make some room for these babies!

Stash Haul Alert!

So with the wedding and honeymoon and getting back to normal I fell behind with posting my monthy haul so.... here's September, October and November all in one go. I know, I know, it's almost December, I'm getting back in the swing of things.  I've been busy writing cards, getting presents organised, and I've been having fun catching up with the polish community. I alraedy have some absolutely awesome stuff for the December haul, which I do promise to show you before next year. Lol!

Anyway, prepare to drool!!

These are my very first Illamasquas - and they were on sale!!

I have developed a complete obsession with Hare polish. There are lots I still need.....

Some Crows of course!

I haven't tried either of these yet but when I do I will be using the PVA glue technique.

This is the starlight collection from QVC, I don't know if it was exclusive to them or not but I needed it for that blue - 3rd polish in. This will be a great spring set - see, already thinking ahead!

I think hands down KBShimmer was the best Christmas collection out there and THANK YOU HARLOW & CO for free shipping over $50 - you can take my money any day!

Also, my love of OPI. I am compelled to purchase most or all of any OPI collection whether I like it or not. I don't know why! The Bond collection was well worth it however and there were only 2 I didn't get.

The Catrice was a gift from my awesome friend Tracy. It has the fattest brush EVER!

Some polish from my awesome Swedish friend and my first but not last IsaDora:

This has got to be my most awesome pic. These were gifted to me by my very sweet Singaporean/Aussie friend Nicole. They are one of a kinds created for my wedding. Aren't they STUNNING?????

A couple of weding themed OPI's and my first Avon polish which I think will be great for stamping

A holo swap! Yes, that is DS Glamour.....

Part of my LLarowe Scratch and Dent Mystery bag, I also got a stamping plate:

This Dote polish as the same name as my Mum. The others were swaps.

Here comes the bling! And my first and so far only Elevation Polish. I think I need more!

I love these but fall was very short this year so they may have to wait a little while to be worn:

My awesome friend Ashley gifted me these as a wedding gift. I absolutely LOVED them all and have worn 3 of them already!

My first Daring Diva - bought in the $5 sale. Bargain!

Some more swaps:

You didn't really think we'd end without some Enchanted did you?

A gorgeous gift for my wedding from my friend Zoe (Denim was bought by me for someone else and somehow it ended up in here...... and in my Alex.........:

Randoms from Barry M, you just can't go wrong with a bit of Barrry (except I couldn't get the wed effects to work!):

Love my Girly Bits and their creator. I wore Howl At The Moon on my Hen do!

Jelly Shoes really isn't bright orange, my camera freeked out!

And my Lynn's, aren't they BEAUTIFUL! I am tempted to decorate my tree with them!!

And some Dollish. I was lucky to be able to snag these from Dolly's big cartel site. My fingers were flying that day!!

And a lonely Boots holo - I'm not sure it deserves to be in this pic!

WOW - I love these posts and sometimes I need to look back to remind myself of what to wear next. I've already got a box full for Decembers post (which I promise will be up in December!)

So, which is your favourite??
