So today I have an oldie but a goodie for you, it's one of the old OPI DS polishes from back in the day when they used to make them really good and most of us hadn't cottoned on to that yet!
I managed to snag this beauty BNIB on ebay a while ago, one day I'd really love to complete my DS collection, I've got a way to go so we'll see......
This bright and bold beauty is OPI DS Sensation. Before you get too disappointed it's not one of the holo's these collections are famous for, it's a beautiful hot pink polish with hints of orange and a blue glass fleck running through it.
The formula was pretty thin, I used 4 coats for this mani and in real life I could still see a little VNL, it's a really vibrant and pretty polish though so I didn't mind that at all. I wore this mani for several days, it would be such a pretty pedi colour!

Ninja Polish Divinity
Happy Memorial Day for those of you celebrating in the US, in the UK we've had a bank holiday today so it's a short week for us too!
Today I have for you Ninja Polish Divinity from the Enigma collection. This polish contains colour shifting pigments and sparkle. It is modelled on the likes of the famous Clarins 230 and Max Factor Fantasy Fire but it can be worn alone without undies.
I took the some of these pictures below in the light box which really didn't show much colour shifting but I wanted you to see the polish in this light because it does show some of the colour shifting which was really hard to capture.
For these swatches I used 2 coats of Divinity and one coat of HK Girl topcoat, make sure you scroll down further for more pictures and a comparison.
Look at that bottle shot! Unfortunately I never got quite so much colour shift on my nails.
These pictures were taken outside in the daylight, very little colour shifting but lots of sparkle
I think the most colour shift I got from this polish was in low light which meant it was really hard to capture. You can see some green shift in this picture but in real life it was more apparent.
OK, so I am luck enough to also own Max Factor Fantasy Fire and Clarins 230 so I thought I would show you a quick comparison. I swatched Fantasy Fire and Clarins 230 over black, as you can see Divinity is quite different, even over black.
Fantasy Fire and Clarins 230 are very very similar and I felt that Divinity just lacked the depth of the other 2. I know it's not supposed to be a dupe but for us in the UK where Fantasy Fire is plentiful I probably wouldn't bother with Divinity. It's one of those polishes that I probably would really have loved if I didn't already own something even more incredible.
Oh, look at that Clarins....... I still haven't worn it for a full mani as I'm too scared!
Which do you like best??

Enchanted Polish December 2012
I have a rather special polish to show you today.... and of course it's an Enchanted!
December 2012 was a special release by Chelsea and it was the first of her monthly polishes. When it was released I missed out on it because it was announced on Instagram and I really wasn't up to speed with all that then. However, I was really lucky to 'win' it on one of the auctions on one of the nail polish groups, and since then it's become almost impossible to find.
I picked this beauty up when I went to see my Dad in California in March and I immediately put it on, knowing it might be my only shot at sunshine for a while! I brought back a TON of polishes in my suit cases and I was worried something might happen to them on the way, I knew at least if I wore this while it was in my hands then I had had a chance to enjoy it at least once. Luckily all my polishes made it home safe and sound to see another day.
Enchanted Polish December 2012 speaks for itself. It is an absolutely stunning saturated colour. For these pictures I used 2 coats but in fact I am pretty sure I could have got away with just one. Please forgive the less than ideal pictures and application. I was in a hurry to wear it and when I took these pictures I was standing in the car park of Philippe's restaurant (they do the best French Dipped Sandwiches btw) just before leaving for the airport to come back home.
I will most certainly be wearing this one again and next time I promise better pictures.
Oh, I thought I hadn't shown you any pictures of Miagi lately, here is my lovely angel giving me a cuddle when I was really tired with jet lag. Gotta love him!

Nubar Reclaim
Well, it's middle of May and no chance of any sunshine to wear any holo's so........ I just thought I'd remind myself of the fabulousness of something I've already worn since I'm not going to be seeing it on my nails anytime soon.... oh the joys of the English weather!!
This is Nubar Reclaim, if you don't own it then you should, if you have it but haven't worn it then you need to!
This is 2 coats on it's own with a layer of HK Girl as a topcoat. I used my usual base and the formula was absolutely beautiful, no dragging or pulling, just effortless coats.
I can't wait to wear this polish again, dare I say, it is even more stunning in real life, why oh why did it take me so long to try it??!

Hare Polish Teen Queen
Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you've all had a lovely weekend, it just goes too fast doesn't it?!
Well, today I have a polish I've been meaning to show you for a couple of weeks, it's from the new Hare collection and it's called Teen Queen. As you may know, I love Hare Polish and I knew there were a few from the newest collection I needed, I did debate this one as I'm trying to stay away from clear based glitters but I had a baby shower coming up and thought it would be perfect!
Hare Teen Queen is a neon blue glitter and satin baby pink hex and square glitter in several sizes. It's also got a generous amount of blue shimmer and a clear base.
My friend Sarah's baby is due on the 25th May and she doesn't know if she's having a boy or a girl so I decided to do skittles with Barry M Baby Pink and Blue Moon topped with a generous coat of Hare Teen Queen, one coat of Gelous and a coat of HK Girl. The formula was great, as always with Hare.
I really liked this mani, it was perfect for the occasion!
Look at this cute huge cupcake, we were all on a sugar high!
All the girls:
Good luck Sarah!

Enchanted Polish Magical Mystery Tour
Well, I told you I had something special for you today.... and here it is. So if you know me, you'll know I am a huge Enchanted Polish fan. Yes I know Chelsea's business has exploded and that has made it harder for us to get her polishes but boy, when you get your hands on one are they worth it!
I'm not going to do much talking today because this polish doesn't need words, but I will tell you that I think this is my favourite polish of all time. This is the polish I could wear for the rest of my life and want to be buried in (hopefully not for a very long time but it gives you a indication of my absolute love for it). This is Enchanted Polish Magical Mystery Tour, 3 coats, although it only needed 2. It is pure multi chrome, holographic goodness. I couldn't love it more!
I need a least 2 back up bottles, on to the pictures.....
I don't need to describe these pictures, you can see for yourself, and yes, this is all ONE polish!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

KBShimmer Sugar Plum Faerie
I'm back! Sorry I haven't been posting for the last couple of weeks. Do you ever just not feel like doing something? Well, when it comes to polish I rarely have that feeling but lately I just haven't felt like posting. I've had this post in my drafts for at least a week and a half and I've been painting my nails and making a few swaps and purchases which has all been fun but I've enjoyed taking a little break. I'm never going to be a big blogger and I do this for fun, which I hope comes across in my blog, so I've got plenty of posts for fun waiting for you, I just have to edit the photo's first!!
Anyway, today I have a polish I bought at Christmas and am only just getting around to wearing. KBShimmer Sugar Plum Faerie is a purple jelly with tons of beautiful glitters floating about. The thing I love about this polish is the vibrancy of the colours, the hot pink and lime green glitters really make this polish a stand out for me.
For this swatch I used 3 coats of Sugar Plum Faerie and 2 coats of HK Girl topcoat. Despite all the glitters the formula was really nice and easy to apply and the polish wore really well, if I remember right I think i had it on for 3 days.
Stay tuned for tomorrow, I have something I have been wearing all weekend and it's so stunning it's killed me to take it off for work tomorrow.
